Educational Supplement for Three University Students from the Upcountry Children Home

The Upcountry Children Home (Badulla) cares for 24 children. Three female students from this home are currently pursuing a commerce degree at the Vavuniya Campus of Jaffna University. They are eligible for the Mahapola scheme provided by the Sri Lankan government; however, they have not yet received these payments. The home is currently providing a base support of LKR 10,000, but this is not sufficient. They are requesting temporary assistance to cover their basic monthly educational expenses. The LetUsHelpNow Foundation is providing LKR 10,000 monthly for each student for six months. The total budget for this project is LKR 180,000.

மலையக சிறுவர் இல்லத்தில் இருந்து மூன்று மாணவிகள் தற்போது வவுனியா பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் முதலாம் ஆண்டு  முகாமைத்துவ பீடத்தில் கல்விகற்று வருகின்றார்கள். 2023 - 2024 ஆம் கல்வி ஆண்டுக்காக தெரிவுசெய்யப்பட்ட இந்த மாணவிகளுக்கு அரச உதவியான மகா பொல இன்னும் கிடைக்கப் பெறாமையினால் இதற்காக தற்காலிகமாக இவ்வாண்டிற்கு உதவி வழங்க கோரியுள்ளனர்.  அறம்செய்வோம் அறக்கட்டளை ஒவ்வொரு மாணவருக்கும் இ.ரூ 10,000 மாதாந்தம், 6 மாதங்களுக்கு வழங்குகிறது.  இதற்கான மொத்த செயற்திட்ட செலவு இ.ரூ 180,000 ஆகும்.
